Joseph again manipulates the transaction with his brothers, putting to test their resolve not to leave a brother behind as they did him. Our study through this chapter reveals a true turnaround in their hearts. These men who once discarded an innocent brother in the pits, now offer up their lives for guilty Benjamin? What a change! Even Joseph's emotions are bursting seams.

“Providence teaches us not to judge God by our feeble senses” – because He, by His sovereign wisdom and love, governs all things in the universe; times of plenty & scarcity included. Still terrified by their last encounter with Egypt’s Governor, Jacob’s sons embark on a restock trip with premium gifts to pacify their hostile host. This time they hope to be masters of their fates and captains of their souls.
