Genesis 47:27 Thus Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen. And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly.

GENESIS 46 - Providentially, The Israelites though an abominable people to the Egyptians find favor with Pharaoh. Led by God to Egypt with a Kinsman at the seat of power and the plushest of lands, what could possibly go wrong? Captivity maybe? How can we still see God as good when circumstances around us are brutal and unbearable? Let’s retrospectively consider the narrative of Israel’s migration.
