Genesis 43:1-2 1 Now the famine was severe in the land. 2 And when they had eaten the grain that they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them, “Go again, buy us a little food.”
“Providence teaches us not to judge God by our feeble senses” – because He, by His sovereign wisdom and love, governs all things in the universe; times of plenty & scarcity included. Still terrified by their last encounter with Egypt’s Governor, Jacob’s sons embark on a restock trip with premium gifts to pacify their hostile host. This time they hope to be masters of their fates and captains of their souls.
