Genesis 46:3 Then he said, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation.
God is working His purposes out. He leads Jacob with his sixty-plus family members to be forged into a great nation in great Egypt. As Jacob and Joseph reunite the Genesis of Israel's Exodus gets underway.
